BRASOSCA RESTAURANT

 

The 'Brasosca' Fish Taverna and Restaurant, with its extensive Greek , Meditteranean and International menu is up and running and at your service.

Formerly the 'Dolce Mare' cafe, it is situated right on the harbour front. You will also see some familiar faces there as the restaurant is run by Tasos and Rebecca, along with Hilary, who many of you know.

The kitchen is in the capable hands of Tasos' parents, Manolis and Maria who have years of experience. Tasos had his own taverna on Kalymnos for 10 years before moving to Mastihari.

There is a wide selection of freshly caught local fish, from which you are welcome to make your choice. Of course the usual, traditional, Greek cuisine is there for the taking and there are also a few more Meditteranean delights to tempt your palate. Succulent tuna steak, cooked over charcoal and served with a variety of mouth-watering sauces being just one example of something a little different.

        

Also, if you find yourself in need of an authentic Indian curry, 'Brasosca' is the place to visit.

    

A warm, rosy atmosphere surrounds you in the evenings when the lights are low and you can watch the ferries coming in and out whilst enjoying a bottle of good Greek wine - of which there are many.
